　5月11日に北見武道館で、留学生に田牧先生はおもしろくて詳細なプレゼンテーションを開催しました。それは居合道についてでした。日本の数少ない伝統武道の一つです。説明の後、私たち留学生は動作を練習しました。日本刀も披露されました。それは数世紀前のもので、その職人技は素晴らしく、エレガントな高貴さを示していました。私にはこう見えた：居合道は単なる趣味ではなく生き方として、哲学さえも。。それのキーポイントは練習と練習を繰り返す意識です。それは精神の道で、たぶん心の平和もです。（文：ヴェフヴィライネン　ペルットゥ ヘンリク、フィンランドからの短期留学生）


On May 11th, at Kitami no Budokan, Junichi Tamaki gave an interesting presentation to the students. It was about Iai-do, one of the few Japanese classical martial arts. After the presentation, we students were given an exercise. A restored Japanese sword was also displayed. It was a few centuries old, and its craftsmanship was superb, showing elegant nobility. It appears to me that Iai-do is not just a hobby, but a way of life, even a philosophy. The key point of it are spirituality, repetitive training, and awareness.
